If you are planning your wedding, Congratulations!

Church weddings are very special, they mean that you will make your wedding vows with God and with your family and friends present.

There are some legal requirements in order to get married in a church and more about this can be found on the Church of England website.

But don't worry, we are here to help so Contact Us and we will ask you a few simple questions.

One of our team will then arrange to meet with you and help you prepare for your big day.

Please note that due to prior commitments weddings are not usually possible on Sundays, Easter Weekend, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. As we are a large benefice with many churches but few staff it is imperative that you check availability with us before making firm bookings for your reception, honeymoon etc.

We offer the Alpha Marriage Preparation Course for our wedding couples and hope you will be able to join us on one.
They usually take place over one weekend, are very informal, fun and aimed at getting you and your partner to discuss various aspects of marriage as well as enjoying the company of other couples over supper and lunch!

You can find lots of helpful advice about getting married in church by going to the Church of England
Your Church Wedding website.
