Meeting Together - Small Groups

Group of people sitting with hands clasped in prayer with bibles on their laps.

"For where two or three gather in my name,
there am I with them."
Matthew 18:20

We are a dispersed group of churches meeting regularly on Sundays in several different church buildings for worship together. It is wonderful to be able to meet in this way but if we are to grow in faith it is really important that we take time to meet together for social events of different kinds (fellowship) and also to reflect on Scripture, pray, share and study together so that we grow in knowledge and friendship with God too.

In these groups we share fellowship, learning, responsibility and accountability in a confidential setting.
These 'Small Groups' include courses such as 'Pilgrim'. There may also be temporary groups for a particular purpose such as a Lent Group, Alpha or Confirmation courses.

Whilst we believe firmly in being family together some groups or activities are for a particular gender or age group such as Women Together and Pulse (youth).

Small Groups are almost always the hub of effective church life and growth. As such we would expect every Christian in our Benefice churches to wish to be a member of a Small Group.

There are already a number of small discipleship groups in the Benefice meeting at different times and on different days during the week, details of which can be found on the side bar. We hope there is one that is suitable for you but if not please contact Rev.Trevor Kemp.

We would love to see you.
