"Is anyone among you sick?
Let him call for the elders of the church,
and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."

The Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing

A healing centre was founded in the hamlet of Harnhill nearly 30 years ago, fulfilling the vision of a local clergy man called Arthur Dodds. Ever since those early days many hundreds from all over the country and abroad have come to find healing, peace, refreshment, teaching and a comfortable stay.

It is open to all denominations, although under the umbrella of the Church of England.

There are two public services a week, at 7.30 pm on Wednesdays and 10.30 am on Fridays.  The latter includes communion. There is also a full programme of retreat days, art days, healing weeks or weekends, and teaching on aspects of the healing ministry.

Harnhill is run by the Rev. Kate Picot, assisted by a residential team of six, those who work in the office, the kitchen, the house and the garden, supported by numerous volunteers.

Harnhill Manor is just 3 miles from Cirencester, and a warm welcome awaits any one who would like to visit.
