Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

John 20: 21-23

New Benefice Administrator. We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Mrs Antonia Walls, (Toto as she is known), who lives in Kemble. Please welcome her into what is a new role in the Benefice and we believe integral to the support of the Benefice Church Wardens and a new vicar.

All Saints Kemble is looking for a new Church Warden as the post will become vacant after the APCM on Monday 20th May at 7.30 pm in All Saints Church. Please contact Mark Wilton or Jill Kingston if you are interested. Assistance with the role will be provided and it would greatly help if we can get someone learning alongside the incumbents.

Electoral Register. We are also looking for new members to register ahead of the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) on 20th May. If you are interested then please contact Jill Kingston and Mark Wilton about how to go about it and what it means.

Thy Kingdom Come.

This year, Thameshead Benefice is marking the time between the celebration of Jesus’ Ascension into heaven (9th May) and the Birthday of the Church with the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (19th May) with a series of events focused on prayer. We will be praying for our communities and for the future of our Benefice as we begin the process of seeking our next Priest. The events are for anyone to join in, and we’ve tried to make sure that the whole Benefice is included, especially churches that are used less often. See Notice Boards for details.
