Feeding the 5000

Loaves and fish

"Taking the five loaves and two fish and looking up to heaven,
he gave thanks anmd broke the loaves.
Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to all the people.

He also divided the two fish among them all.
They all ate and were satisfied"

Mark 6:41 -42

Volunteer delivery drivers needed for “Feeding the 5000” initiative

On Tuesdays and Thursdays each week deliveries of meals to those in need of support are being sent as part of the “Feeding the 5000” initiative in our Deanery.

Can you spare up to four hours from 11:00am (probably much less) on a Tuesday or Thursday morning to help?

Are you under 70 and not living in a household with someone at high risk from COVID19?

If you would like to volunteer or for some more information please see the link below and contact Rev Trevor Kemp at The Rectory.

All meal packs are collected from the RAU and left on the doorstep by our volunteers. An induction briefing is provided at the RAU (the supply hub) before your first session to help keep you and the clients safe.

The more volunteers we have the less sessions each does or the shorter the time each volunteer will need to commit.
